Painting wildflowers @ WBCL

With the display of Texas wildflowers a bit meager this year, the group produced a vibrant array of flowers that any hillside would be jealous of!

I did a quick sketch of the flowers and made copies so the activity could be painting instead of drawing. Using paint supplied by members of HOTT we went at it and the results were spectacular. After the flowers were completed the group was encouraged to add bees and butterflies which they did with great enthusiasm. A few even added backgrounds which really change the look of the design. In the spirit of age 8 to 90 a few of the parents took up a brush and did their own paintings.
